“Sunny Day in Portugal as the guys head out for some more coaching at Sporting CP…and a visit from some parents”
What a beautiful day was waiting for us. Lisbon’s clear and bright light sky was warmful enough to charge everyone with the best spirits.
The double daily training routine was again kept and boys spend a good time working on their finishing and team play.
After all was over, everyone watched Sporting’s talented youth players training in the adjacent pitches under a highly organised group of coaches and impressive setting-up for practice….what a joy to watch and learn.
In the end of the day, we received a visit from two of our players parents at Sporting’s campus. They decided to fly to Lisbon for the first time to enjoy the gorgeous city of Lisbon while having their boys with us. Both were in awe when they first witnessed the full scale of the training grounds and people involved and admitted to be a positive and memorable football experience that the kids and themselves would never forget.
We were rejoiced by this and sure that other similar endeavours should take place.
