PARENT REVIEWS

What Parents Say

★★★★★

“My son absolutely loved it. The balance of training and match play was exactly right — he came home exhausted and happy every day.”

Peggy J.

Easter Camp 2025 · Paddington Rec

★★★★★

“As a parent dropping off a shy seven-year-old, I was nervous. By day two she was running in without looking back. The coaches are warm, organised, and genuinely good with kids of all ages.”

Lorena A.

Summer Camp 2025 · Hampstead Heath

★★★★★

“The level of coaching surprised me — proper structured sessions, not just kids kicking a ball around. My son plays for a local academy and still got a lot out of it. Already booked him in for summer.”

GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

When do the camps happen?

Our camps run during mainstream London school holidays — half-terms, Easter, summer, and Christmas. Each camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm. You can book individual days or a full week. The full-week discount gives you 10% off automatically.

Our camps run at one of two locations across London. Hampstead Heath (Parliament Hill Fields) — our main summer venue, next to the lido. Large grass pitches with plenty of space for full sessions and match play. Paddington Recreation Ground — used for our winter and Easter camps, with an all-weather astroturf pitch. The exact venue is shown on each camp card above. We’ll also confirm it in your booking confirmation email.

Any player born between 1 September 2010 and 31 August 2019 is welcome — that covers school years 2 through 10 roughly. You do not need to be an EFA academy member. Our camps are open to all players regardless of club, school, or ability level.

At the start of each camp we assess every player and group them into recreational, development, and performance sets based on age and ability — not just age alone. This means your child trains alongside players at a similar level. No one sits on the sidelines waiting for others to catch up, and no one is held back because they happen to be in a mixed-age group.

Camp runs 9:00am to 3:30pm every day. Your child should bring: — A packed lunch and plenty of water — Football boots and shin pads — A spare set of dry clothes and trainers (for athletics track games) — A waterproof jacket — we train in light rain Please do not send energy drinks or nut-based snacks.

Absolutely. We offer a supervised travel option for families coming from South London. Your child meets our assigned coach outside Starbucks at Vauxhall station at 8:00am and travels up to the camp with the group. At the end of the day, the coach returns with them and they’re back at Vauxhall by 4:15pm. Just tick the South London travel option when registering and we’ll send you the full details.

Please let us know on the registration form — there’s a dedicated field for this. We read every entry before camp begins and will contact you directly if we need to understand anything further. We want every child to take part fully and safely. The more we know in advance, the better prepared our coaches will be.

Yes. We offer financial assistance to families who need support with the cost of camp. To apply, simply submit your financial details through our assistance request form and we’ll review it promptly. Based on what you share, we’ll determine whether we can offer a 25% or 50% reduction on the standard camp fee. Assistance is subject to available spaces, so we’d encourage you to apply as early as possible. All provided on the registration form.

We do not offer refunds on camp bookings.
If your plans change, you can transfer your booked days to a different camp date within the same season. Just contact us at least 48 hours before the day you need to move, and we’ll arrange the transfer (subject to available spaces).
To request a transfer, email us at bruno@efalondon.com with your booking reference and the date you’d like to move to.
