You want to be out with your friends and teammates playing football, playing matches and scoring goals alongside developing your skills at trainings.
But right now we need to take a pause, and as much as we wish we could all be down with you at the pitches right now, we have to wait until December to have you all back again… but don’t forget your coaches miss you as well.
As an Academy player it’s important to remember your coach is always there if you would like someone to talk to, catch up with and maybe discuss some ideas on drills you could be doing by yourself or with your parents at the park, even if you want to just have a chat with your coach about everything that’s going on you can be sure we will be there to listen to you.
Don’t forget if you are finding things tough, it’s a sign of strength to ask for help when you need it. There is always someone you can talk, even if that’s not one of your coaches.
Keep in touch with your teammates and friends outside of school, catch up with cousins and family outside of London.
