European Football Academy (EFA) has been coaching young players across North and South London since 2015. EFA now works with 350–400+ players across two hubs. In North London, sessions run out of venues including Paddington Recreation Ground, Castlehaven Centre in Camden, and Clarion School in Brent Cross. In South London, training is based around Archbishop's Park in Waterloo and Kennington Park in Lambeth. Every squad, from our youngest U5s right through to U18s, has at least one weekly session in each region, and most age groups above U9 train twice a week.
The date-of-birth search above is designed to save parents the back-and-forth of emailing to confirm which group their child belongs to, particularly around the U5/U6 and U16/U17 age cut-offs where dates can be easy to misjudge.
Sessions are built around age-appropriate technical work — ball mastery and coordination for our youngest squads, progressing to positional play, tactical understanding and physical conditioning for older age groups. Goalkeepers train separately on Sundays, with dedicated coaching in both London regions. Our approach follows the principles set out in England Football's Grassroots Code, which underpins how we expect players, coaches and parents to behave both on and off the pitch.

Beyond the football training schedule London parents rely on week to week, what keeps families at EFA long-term is consistency of coaching. Our staff work with the same squads across a full season, so progress is tracked, not restarted every few months with a new face. Sessions are planned around a season-long curriculum rather than one-off drills, which means a player who joins as a U7 and stays through to U18 experiences a genuinely progressive footballing education — technical foundations first, then tactical understanding, then the physical and mental demands of the older age groups. Parents also tell us the North and South London hub structure matters: it means a family that moves across the city, or simply finds one region easier for the school run, doesn't have to leave the academy to make it work. Whichever hub you choose, the same coaching standards and season-long curriculum apply, so switching regions never means starting from scratch.
