EFA Academy Player

You've got your Sportmember invite

Your registration is handled through your academy account. There's nothing to fill in here.

Your job is to pick a friend, share this page with them, and tell them to register their place.

What to expect

Fast football, properly coached

Whether you're an EFA regular or stepping onto a coached pitch for the first time, the format is the same: small teams, constant action, and plenty of time on the ball.

Small-sided games mean every player touches the ball constantly. No standing on the wing waiting for something to happen.

EFA coaches run every session. The format is fun but it's structured — players get real coaching, not just a kickabout.

Participation medals for every player. Prize eligibility for winning teams that include an invited friend — which is the whole point.

Who can take part

Open to all — no experience needed

The EFA Academy Player

Any registered EFA member in the age groups listed above. Your place is confirmed through Sportmember — just make sure you've RSVPed and bring your invited friend along on the day.

The Invited Friend

Anyone your EFA player invites. Doesn't matter if they play for a club, kick about in the garden, or have never played a structured game. This is designed as a first experience — all levels welcome.

No special kit needed for invited friends — comfortable sports clothes and trainers are fine. Both players should bring shin pads and a water bottle.

No. Your place is managed through Sportmember. You'll receive an invitation there — just RSVP to confirm you're attending. The registration form on this page is only for your invited friend.
No. Your EFA player friend is registered through their academy account via Sportmember. You're the one who needs to submit the registration form here so we have your details, age group, and any medical information ahead of the day.
Not at all. Invited friends are welcome whatever their level — club players, garden kickabout, or complete beginners. The small-sided format keeps everyone involved and the coaching is supportive throughout.
Yes — all players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.

No pressure on the day — but if they'd like to find out what EFA is about, they can book a trial session here. Come to Funino first, then decide.
